Agree, something like that heron a1 or a zip up/button up shawl collar Cossack jacket for the collection lol I'll save that for later though. A black straight zip jacket is a strong game my friend, can't go wrong with that

This vintage leather jacket was made by Albert Richards. It is their “Shetland” model, made of “Satintan” horsehide, with a “Beavertex” mouton collar. It has an alpaca lined body and quilted lined sleeves.

I wonder if that huge trapezoid piping section has kept the whole front relatively creaseless compared to the sleeve and even the back I suppose the piping function as barrier and spring to push back slight creases before it sets in permanently.

Am interesting counterpoint to the discussion on sleeves showing creases etc- while the sleeves on this vintage Hercules have resisted creasing they still developed a beautiful grain and character given lots time and use.

Thank you! It's actually the first jacket in a while which I don't have any doubts about keeping. I usually tend to wear them heavily for months so I hope it will only get better, specially when the sun is out. Most days is just cloudy and rainy lately.

Thank you! I am a size 38 chest so to be honest there's quite a lot to pick from when it comes to jackets but I just can't hoard them all unless I start selling off stuff(I'm very bad at that!)

As of now the only ones I'd keep are this one , the other FW and the Eastman 3/4 leather coats.

The Himel Grizzly has too short sleeves for me, the Himel Intrepid is way too small to wear comfortably I'm afraid, the other vintage ones I have are too big, the Lewis Leathers is too long...

I'm not fully satisfied with what I have which may be the reason why I keep looking for other jackets.

Thanks! only thing I've done is wear it many times a week to go to work and back home. Nothing else. Well, I haven't babied it at all, I don't even hang it. Just lay it in the bed.

Thanks! Keep wearing it for a while no matter what, weather, occasion, etc and even in rain and the sleeves will turn out amazing.

I think that this deerskin really wanted to be worn instead of staying mint. Still has that suedeish feeling but it feels crispy and smooth at the same time, can't describe it.
