My Knox Stagecoach refurb on the head....the open crown is 7 inches tall with a 4.5 inch brim width. The brim curl is 1/4 inch. The crown now sports a Montana Pinch with a Mule Kick in the back.

Taken apart and ironed out to its original block shape:
After: except for the weaved hat band everything original to the hat was reused

Great shape, Love it except for the ribbon, but I'm not a fan of thin ribbons. I can't believe that they made a telescope style bash out of a 7 inch crown originally. Dang.

Thank you MJ! The thin ribbon's temporary for now until I can find a wider matching ribbon for it. The hat is a granite color and I don't have anything that matches it. Hopefully, I'll come across one sooner or later.
Yeah, a low telescope crown kinda had me scratching my head too, especially for a 7 inch open crown. Seemed like a waste of crown to me.

From a couple of years ago. This is the next biggest Western I have. This one is a 3X Resistol that I refurbished sometime back. I also gave this one a Montana Pinch. It sports a 6.5 crown with a 4 inch brim width.
