I had some Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon last night. I was near hats, but wasn't wearing one. I arranged for these guys to stand in for me. Cheers!

That’ll do :)

Yesterday afternoon I got home in time to enjoy the warmer weather (20'f). After a walk I found myself sampling a Founders Breakfast Stout. Delicious. Some ice needed chipping with an ice breaker. A long hour later I celebrated with a Founders Porter. For dinner I started roasting a chicken on the grill. First time outside cooking in weeks. A Surley IPA was my cooking beer.

What a pleasure to be outside after a cold couple of weeks.

Hope all are warm, have power and water, Eric -

A 21St Amendment Bla Bla Bla was my choice for an evening walkabout. I chose to sample a bottle of this only because the name caught my attention as I passed the case were my liquior store sells singles. This is a thick and hearty double IPA. The pine and orange rind are a pleasant combo. This 8% ABV I will definitely seek again. I give this a thumbs up. (In the darkness with a flash almost all the IPA's come out looking the same. This beer pours a darker IPA color. I need to learn how to get better night time color representation.)

It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood, so I was in the mood for something other than black. El jefe, a Stetson One-hundred with a Dogbone fit the bill.

Normally when I shop I have a plastic milk crate or cardboard box in the truck. But in lieu of such, it's "no belt, no brains"!

One Bourbon, one Scotch & one bee...er a Tequila!
