Tempted to ask if he would be up to making something else in this vein, I certainly wouldn't mind having as a display piece either :)

Given the complexity of this compared to the teddy bear type ones they have in the RMC shop here in London, I can only imagine what it would cost! ;)

Wonder what it weighs? If the leather is moulded enough for it be hollow, it could be very light, which would be a plus for mail order. ;)

Here's one I spotted on eBay a while back: an Aero Highwayman. A very early one; shared the photos with Ken and he identified it as early, and quite likely made by his own hand. I find it pretty cool because (aside from a 90s-made version of the recently re-introduced ice hockey jacket) it's the first civilian Aero I've ever seen patched up. Very much in the spirit of the original rocker jackets, albeit with Harley rather than the Brit bikes of the originals:

Can't remember what it sold for. Had it been Triumph or BSA patches, I think I'd have been sorely tempted. Looks like it has a story or two in it...

Always interesting to see some of these jackets from that period that have been worn hard. I love that lining. Bizarrely, I have my eye on a kilt with that pattern already, maybe I should have a jacket lined to match.....

I have a feeling it is wet casted over a mould, maybe several parts and joined together much like making a gun holster, nothing less spectacular of a work especially the paintings of the animal, but at least in the real realm outside of myth and magic :D

I'd say it's definitely wet moulded. It looks really cool and a great shop display!

There is no price, wonder how much it costs.
A local stock here in Cologne actually has this one but only in size 44 as far as I can see and price is similar compared to Freewheelers or RMC (2850€):

Just a side note, this store also has two pairs of Clinch Engineer black overdyed HH left (size US 9 and 11):

@red devil Les Motocyclettistes. Kentaurus has this brand in their portfolio for a couple of years now but I‘ve never handled one of this, I guess French maker. They also have two or Three more fancy models I like. I agree one this Leathertogs and I think that FW, LW and RMC versions look better but I personally like the elbow and shoulder pads.

@MrProper Thanks for sharing. It's a beautiful jacket, especially when it starts ageing! I already contacted the seller who sells a new one here in Classifieds but $1800 incl. shipping is too expensive for me.

I should maybe check out classifieds more often lol
But there is never anything for my size anyway.
The jacket looks really cool when it has aged.
Not thought at all when I look at the new condition. ;)
$1800 is of course an announcement.
