My Daily Driver Sorta,
This was either a Stetson Playboy Air-Lite or A Bantam late 30s
Mike Miller at North West Hats brought it back to life about 7 years ago and he made his past version of it which he called the Seabass a very simple hat with feather weight felt
Ribbon is original
I can’t make out the inner crown stamp any input is appreciated maybe Alan might have knowledge

Cool "The Stetson" Perry.

Che, early always, hopefully not early for my demiss. I do not want to miss of minute of escapades. Glad to see your posts.

Thanks sir. Doing my part.

Thanks. I wear my hats hard sometimes and restorative care is needed. Today I really sweated up a Stratoliner and an OR. They are sitting open on blocks and have leather condition on them. I usually intend to wear them gently.
Thanks Eric. That Royal Deluxe is smashing!

I can make out that it says DOBBS in larger letters across the top. Could it be a Cross Country?

I took today off. My wife already sent me out for a walkabout as I have been cruising chores and household stuff since 6:00 am. I headed out to "relax" in a Stetson Open Road 3X. A few other Open Roads fell off the storage shelf and it reminded me I need to clean them up after Fall and Winter wearing. I will brush them with Coleman White gas early afternoon.

I am enjoying a day off at my speed - not normal, I get it. This afternoon I will need to get some reading and administration stuff done. Until then full speed away.

I moved some annoying fallen leaves in a Stetson Stratoliner. This version has a 2 7/8" brim. I have included some pics of the Strat with an OR.

In the above pic the Open Road shows in the bottom and the Strat shows in the top.

I grilled some salmon steaks and asparagus for brunch. Our local micro-brewer, Omni Brewing, delivered a growler of hazy pilsner mid-morning. I enjoyed a glass during brunch prep. A DeLuxe Stetson Vogue was my grilling fedora.

Cheers, Eric -

Great hats as usual, Eric! Can you explain how you brush your hats with Coleman white gas? I’m familiar with the dunk method, but I’m intrigued by the brushing.

Cheers,
Brent

A double take Knox Twenty WestLite that I got about 3 weeks ago to replace the one I sold 3 months ago.
This’n is in better condition except for 3 moth divots needing repair underneath.

This one has the Knox logo on the wind button. Don’t know if it’s original to the hat...but I like it.

At first I thought that too but now I'm not sure it says DOBBS. This is all I can pull out. Maybe this will help someone to recognize it.

HI Hurricane
You are correct I forgot and lost my before pics & notes as i recall it was Dobbs answer to the Early Playboys from late 30s
I think Alan advised me to seek these out as well when i was searching out the Air-Lite I know Alan had a excellent example
I found it without the sweat but remember the Dobbs stamp was not faded as much
Thanks for your input Now if i can find out what it was called
