The shoulders are tight. As I said before it looks good, but it feels pretty restrictive. Hopefully as it beaks in it’ll loosen up a bit.

I just read that now on your first post about the jacket. I got too excited to see the fit pictures and didn't read it all but had to comment right away lol.
pls do so we can see how a brand new Mulholland evolves over time and we can see more photos of the jacket too. Congrats again @Seank

I think I’ll be pretty happy with this as time goes on. Out of the box, very stiff. So stiff in the chest and shoulders I had trouble even getting my hands into the side pockets. Feels a little restrictive as far as movement goes...Although it is starting to loosen up a bit already. It’s thicker than I expected. I think the fit looks good as far as sleeve length and overall length. It’s a size 40. I’m 5’8” 175 lbs. 39” chest.

Jacket measurements indicate 18.5” shoulders, 24” back, 24.5” sleeves, 2” drop in the front, P2P 21.5”.
Even though the measurements are almost identical to my aero premier highwayman, this fits much different. It’s tighter across the chest and body, more restrictive, smaller/higher arm holes, narrower sleeves...just a closer to the body, more snug fit all around. The collar is more comfortable than the aero. The aero feels tighter in the neck and feels like it’s pushing on me from the sides and back, not comfortable. This jacket feels fine as far as that is concerned. The jacket details are great. The zipper is a tricky little bugger.

Oh, it’s a Freewheelers Muholland if you didn’t already figure that out.

The mullholand is tricky in chest measurement. I had a size 44" at 5'11" 187 lbs. and 41" chest, which I sold due some weight loss. Now I have 167 lbs and 40" chest, tried a size 42" (Pit/Pit 22", 56cm) which is still perfect trim in fitting. From my experience in comparison to other fw jackets, the mulholland jacket should be worn one size larger. However it's a nice looking jacket :)

Note: I am wearing size 40" in brakeman currently and tried a size 38" in switchyard, which felt same as size 40" brakeman.

Nice what leather did you go with for the thedi?
I asked for the washed caffe Buffalo but specified that if there were variations in the “caffe” color that I would prefer a darker hide opposed to one of the lighter ones. I own another one of his jackets in Buffalo and I really like the weight and feel of it.
As it can sometimes be difficult to capture true color in posted pics, I am interested to see it in person. In the pics there seems to be a lot of variation in the hide which I think will give it an aged look and should be pretty cool in person.

thanks! how do you find the washed buffalo compares in weight/feel/wearability/malleability to the Shinki on the Mulholland you just received? I've been looking for something a little bit more easy wearing than even mid-weight weight leathers like Shinki and Vicenza.

Honestly the Shinki on my Muholland feels closer to CXL than it does Vincenza. It’s got the weight of the CXL but feels more supple and flexible. Feels like it stretches and molds better/faster than cxl. It’s really nice, in no way does it feel like a mid weight , but it wears like one. Lovely stuff. I had Shinki leather in the past on a RMC A-1 and it was much lighter than the Shinki on this Muholland...not all Shinki HH are comparable.

In comparison to The Thedi Buffalo...the Buffalo feels more substantial and stiffer than Vicenza. It’s more comfortable and breaks in faster than CXL, but if you are looking for something more easy wearing than Vicenza...maybe goat would be a better option? IDK. There are some knowledgeable people who have responded on this thread... maybe they can chime in and offer some additional opinions.

@Seank That is a great looking jacket and leather. I am seriously considering a Thedi as my next jacket -- perhaps the same leather.

Any chance you are in So Cal. I would love to see the jacket in person.
