I was just going to PM you. I have a Schott Rancher in size 42, chocolate brown, that I never wear.
But then I just tried it on again...these Ranchers look so dang good. The suede on them is wonderfully thick. Nothing comes close to the cut, the drape, and the way they fit. Such a classic look.

Tony, FWIW, I had a Schott Rancher which is a Trucker...... it was a very light "tan" I thought was more of a Sand color. True Vintage with a fantastic Collar I KNOW you would freakin love. Was a size 46 and I ended up selling it off for $88 :confused::confused::confused::confused:

My point is that I sold it namely because it was EXTREMELY SHORT. I don't know if the more modern ones run longer. They certainly have much less extravagant collars on the newer ones. It seems like mine was a 23....maybe 24" back length. All other aspects of the jacket were stellar though. As has been stated, it was one of the thickest and softest suedes I have come across. It had almost a velvety feel to it. Really sturdy build and nice fit except for the shortness. Even with a tucked in shirt it seemed really short. Maybe it was just my taste back then (2-3 years ago). I have gradually evolved and learned to like or....more accurately ACCEPT the short jackets because that's most of what the true vintage stuff tends to be.

Nonetheless, the Schotts at least DO come around from time to time. Just be aware that the older ones run short.

Good luck with your quest.
