Received this jacket recently, only worn three times, twice to take the fit pics, so its essentially brand new, with all the original packaging.
I wanted an authentic as possible M422a AVG tribute jacket and Eastman did a top-notch job.
Goatskin is incredible with lots of character and grain. It feels and looks almost identical to my old original WW2 Fried Osterman M422a.
Its very comfortable and easy to wear. That said, theres a bit of 'room' for a light sweater, esp in the belly area, but thats the cut of these early jackets, before the trimmer G-1s came in.
The leather Blood Chit was hand made by Sean Collins in the US. Its a two peice stitch, custom made for me and sewn on by ELC. Its an incredible reproduction. The Chinese characters for example, were hand painted and the leather itself oozes character. This alone is $100.
For ref, I am 5'10+, 72kgs trim build, 39" to 40" chest.
It is a size 42 Long. (The 40 felt a touch tight in the shoulders and the pit to pit).
Measures approx:
Shoulder to shoulder: 18.5"
Back length, from base of collar to end of waistband: 27"
Sleeve length, incl cuff: 27.25"
Pit to pit: 22"
Zipper 23"
£700, unfortunately no offers, this is bottom-barrel-price.
I have decide to 'move' this jacket to make way for another A-2... Can't keep em all.
