Some of you may enjoy the attire in this music video from Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, a band of brothers from the southside of Chicago. The sons of Phil Cohran, who played with both Sun Ra and the AACM [the latter is famous here locally, not sure about elsewhere], they used to busk on the streets of downtown Chicago & around El stops, but moved to Queens NY a while back to reach greater fame (more info).

Cool Taubers
Cresco was a cool label and they hung around for a really long time. See mainly bad looking late 70’s early 80’s styles come up on eBay and Etsy. But the early longer Halfbelts were sooo cool.

Wow. I imagine this as something a leatherworker in the Bajío of Mexico might wear to his niece's wedding. Where'd you find this photo?
It’s quite impressive eh? It’s on Etsy. I forget the name of the technique where the design is burnt into the leather. I’ve seen it done with wood too. It’s all done by hand. The symmetry is what strikes me the most. I’m tempted to buy it as a display piece as I find it to be really beautiful!
The jacket that @ton312 posted is similar to a North Beach one that Mick Jagger gave to Keith Richards.
It might fit me! I would wear this!

This is awesome. I wouldn't wear it out of fear of damaging it but it's really cool.
that requires ball of steel right... you have brand new jacket in front of you, and you bring out soldering iron and start doodling on it with no turning back.
