The restoration took Graham Thompson four months, but I finally received my Ermine Stetson from Optimo today.
Graham says it is the best felt he has ever held in his hands."Very thin and strong", he said.
I uploaded a video of him handling it on my Instagram page, max.tejeda2018.
Definitely my best hat. Even better than my MacLachlan Golden Beaver Hundred.

A guy just pulled up to the museum and gave me a bag of hats for free, they were all low end wool Goorin and Steston crushables except this 6X Open Road was at the bottom of the bag. Needs a little work, but the price was right!

Oh! You said "for" instead of "of", and I am terrible with acronyms.
I know the date almost for certain is prior to
December 7th, 1941, because the insurance policy for the Ermine owned by Cuban general Mayorga, which was the 5th hat in series "I", commenced on that date...
