mostly yes, but it depends too, if the total diameter is the same but just cut higher in the armpit but compensate to more scooping curve on the front of the chest, then it can have same biceps size, but narrower chest.

I don't think there is any difference, the pin is just seated a little deeper from what I can tell with my jackets. It's temperamental, you can't rush with them. I always have to run my thumb on the slider/retainer box when zipping/unzipping the jacket to make sure the pin is seated/unseated properly or else it will be an expensive zipper replacement action going on.

*edit: ken of Aero rate them highly he made a post at VLJ about it, stating how sturdy it is and that it should last a lifetime if it is properly used and taken care of

I believe the newer “Hookless” zipper is a repro of the early-style zippers (pre-Talon). They tend to have grommets holding them into the leather, and no zipperbox at the bottom.

I'm thinking this is a very early Crown zipper. The pull is on the European side is confusing. Crown zippers are much less common than Talon and this is one I have not seen. I know someone who my have more information. A very interesting jacket and probably 1930s.

I'd say that RRL was still "trying too hard" with a 1920s/30s style zipper mash-up on a cafe racer jacket.

I found a cafe racer I could have sworn was Beck / Schott, but the back is a one piece design. Haven't been able to find any Beck cafe racers online with the one piece. Did they ever do this? If not, is there another brand that did the two chest pocket, two collar pocket, with a one piece back? I think Fidelity and a lot of those other makers only had one button.

one piece meaning what? No center seam? Or just one big panel (no kidney, no gussets, no yoke, etc.)?

My 666 style schott from the 70sish has a kidney panel and shoulder gussets, but no center seam or yoke. Same with my 641xx (probably early 2000s) which is based on the 666.

Yeah, it's one big panel. Sorta like this, although this jacket is a Fidelity. The Beck / Schott jackets I was referring to, which is probably similar to what you have, have a kidney panel like this.

Anybody have any experience with Viberg boots. These collab boots with Iron heart are available but I dont know if they Will be to big. These are a size 9. I usually wear a size 8,5 in red wings.

I believe they run big, especially depends about the last being used. They run like half a size or full size as they use U.K. sizing.
