Hi all. This is my first time posting images, so I hope I'm doing it right. Today's cap is a Lawrence & Foster Ivy I picked up on vacation in the UK a few years ago. I believe they call this model the "Garforth." It's a nice, versatile workhorse cap.

I took my cobbler out for breakfast. On a visit last week we spoke about caps and I wore my Well Dressed Head "Wise Guy" cap to breakfast. He wore his wool English drivers cap.

I did leave a pair of shoes with him to have heels replaced and a rubber sole protector put on. These were done to the 40's spectators in order to gently wear them on adventures this spring or summer.

It's a sunny, if not especially warm, day here, so I broke out my Alfonso D'Este linen newsboy. I just got this about a month ago, so I'm looking forward to wearing this light, breathable cap during the hot days this summer.

Thanks for sharing your linen warm weather cap. Your post motivated me to unpack a couple linen caps and steam them ready for the upcoming months. Cheers sir.

Nice cap, Eric, but these spectators - fabulous!

Thanks Matt. I have had these Moscot Lemtosch's for a few years and really like them for reading glasses.

Yesterday I was out and about wearing a green twill cap.

I took the evening off and have been puttering about. Time and the cooler temps had me opening the box that contained a couple of new caps that arrived earlier this week.

New Cap Day: New Cordova Straw Cap Day! I would like to introduce my new straw cap. This was originally listed as an upholstery fabric. It appears to have Raffia and Jute thread woven in between to hold it together. This is my fav warm weather cap! Hands down.

The cap has heft. It does not lie against the head. The "fabric" is breezy (at least from my one evening wearing attests to).

The fabric and the details combine into a gorgeous summer cap. Dang!

I do have an Abaca Straw cap from Cordova. This is the needed lightweight cap for special occasions. Love this cap also. Pic below:

Thanks for viewing my new Cordova Cap.

Best, Eric -
