Not sure about how much the elastic will realistically do against this weight. I can’t imagine much. Maybe a 6” wide strap would…That said anything this heavy absolutely demands a full AB. I wouldn’t know how to spec it otherwise.

LOL! I asked about the weight. Haven’t heard yet. I’m guessing around 8lbs or so.
I added a bit of room but nothing crazy. Extra 1” in the chest and 1/2” in the shoulders.
What colour is the lining? I hope it won't bleed into your shirts.

I would have imagined the fur to be a little fluffier. Just like my other vest, only shorter. But it's actually almost better for the summer. The cxl leather of the pockets is very hard. I can hardly imagine turning it into a jacket. But let's see how the leather develops.
I think i will wear this vest quite often
