BIN now or cry later. Branded = Cal. Branded = Vanson. Branded > All else.
I own 2 Branded jackets. One could debate whether they are as good as Vanson or Cal, but at half or less of the price it's a no-brainer what to buy for someone on a budget and/or looking for value.

It depends on the Branded you buy, Branded made tons of jackets for a bunch of different markets . In my experience the leather quality of Branded is on par with langlitz but the quality control on their jackets is another story.
When Brooks was making CR jackets for Harley Davidson the HDs had the Coats & Clark chest zips. I've seen other chest zips on Brooks CRs as well. I think they just used what was easily at hand at times...
I am not sure if this is the right discussion to ask but since it is about leather jackets and findings i wanted to share my thrift shop finding and inquire for more information about this worn and currently dirty TT leathers jacket (46'' ; 117cm) that has a small hole in the back: how old is it and is it even worth anything? (since i am a neophyte with no knowledge about these things). I appreciate your help with this question!

But in any case, TT Leathers is a quality UK maker and their jackets are always worth something. I'd estimate it at $150 or so though it depends on the model. Your jacket is luckily a very nice style with less often seen fringes so maybe you could sell it for a bit more. There's always a market for them as they're classic UK style that's always in demand. As for dating it, I'd say late 70's or early 80's.
