Looks warm. Maybe a little less warm than the Dehen which is at the same price point. I think the freewheelers looks better.

Dehen costs the same as Freewheelers? Post a link please.... Keen to see other manufacturers of the 'zip deck jacket'......hopefully cheaper!

I think this is a special reissued. There is an older version in green/khaki with thinner alpaca lining and that did not sell well. I have seen a few at the Yahoo auction and tried on one at the FW outlet store a few years back. Price at the outlet was like around 40000yen.
This is the older version

IMO looks good but not very practical as a sports or work jacket. Can hardly move or stretch in the thick wax coated jungle cloth.

thanks guys as soon as it arrives I will update you
I will sacrifice myself in wearing the jacket in these temperatures

Back from Denmark I see it's been a month ago since you ordered your Deck Jacket, Brunell80. Any fit pics yet? Are you satisfied with your choice? Just curious because a lot of fine people here invested quite some time advising you and answering your questions. Wouldn't it be great, if this part of this thread (which has been spotlighted for reference) would come to a solution?

Cheers
Cats

yes the jacket has arrived, I only tried it on for a second just to check that the size was correct. I'm sorry but at the moment I will not post photos wearing the jacket, the temperatures are too high it seems to be in hell here in Italy. I can only say that I am very satisfied with the purchase and the slim fit

I’m goofy but not by TFL standards. During the 4 months of the year here when it is way too warm for a jacket i often pop mine on for a few minutes walking around the house. I just enjoy messing around with them.

I sometimes wait until late night when even animals are asleep and... :) no, not really, but Brunell80: WE SIMPLY CAN'T WAIT UNTIL ITALY IS FINALLY COLD ENOUGH FOR THIS JACKET! ...this would maybe never be the case anyway... so hurry and climb your Presena Glacier and take a pic! Will be a nice contrast with pink snow in the background.

yard sale find:

A2 deck jacket in size XL (46-48) - label is difficult to read but i think it says manufactured 74 with markings of a "SHOOTER' and USS Ranger stencil with 2 patches ...

patches where in the chest-pocket

shooters are the guys to control the catapult-start on flight decks ...
