Hi folks,
I am new to the forum and have been enjoying some of the discussions very much.
I was wondering if any members here have this jacket in a small that they might be willing to part with. I have been on the hunt for ages but have had no luck and saw another member here was able to get one earlier this year. I’d be eternally grateful! Thanks a lot.

Thank you very much. I got in touch with that seller but unfortunately to no avail! So still a willing buyer of anyone who wishes to part with theirs!

I will state here that I won’t be duped by people trying to scam me. I came in good faith to the forum after hearing positive things from friends, however have fallen foul of two time wasting scammers in two days. I’d love to get a hold of one of these jackets but anyone else who is thinking of trying to pull the wool (or leather) over my eyes please be advised against it. Thanks.

hey man. looking for the same one and same size. I'm thinking of resorting to aero's aeromarine, and just modify the pockets to handwarmers. and thanks merv for the suggestion! i agree it looks better and probably more economical than the aero route!

If you're going that route, I definitely agree with Merv on the Mister Freedom route. In my opinion, it's a more flattering cut, you already have handwarmers, you get the choice of teacore black or natural (which will look beautiful once aged and be more satisfying and fun to watch develop), and, oh yeah...it's CHEAPER. But I just think the Aeromarine is cut a bit too long, which doesn't give it the "old-timey" vibe it's going for.

@maxwell exactly my thought(regarding length)! but aero's length can be modified though, right? but all in all, looks like Mr freedom is the best option in all aspects, even against levi's menlo. levi's only has the advantage of calling it einstein's jacket, and producing a limited batch, which jacked up the price even higher. finding one might not be worth the purchase. i just got into leather jackets this year and i already purchased 1 from aero, 1 coming in from aero also in November, and now this one. predicting the trajectory, i may be bankrupt by 2022. man discovering the fedora lounge family is one of the best of my 2021. with my wallet, not so much. lol

Lol, sounds like you need to cool your jets on Aero. Sell the one you like the least and replace it with a Mister Freedom, then delete your Fedora Lounge account and freeze your credit card in a block of ice. Also, forget Levi's. There's nothing at all special about their Einstein jacket, and it's extremely overpriced.

I have to disagree with you. The lvc Menlo has the most convincing distressing I've every seen on a jacket. I've owned a cossack from the 30s and the lvc came pretty close in terms of look and feel.

I don't disagree with you at all about the Skyfall jacket. It's freaking perfect in every way. When I said forget Levi's, I was talking about the Einstein cassock jacket. Here's a link:

My mistake. I read Einstein and thought skyfall lol.

I haven't handled the Einstein jacket but if I were in the market for a cossack, I agree with you that I'd rather buy a mister freedom campus.

Unless you want to smell like Einstein lol. The lvc jacket comes with a bottle of cologne.

How did Levi's know that I've always wanted to smell like a smart person?
