New Schott Leather Jacket - P623H

I got mine yesterday, wow is it thick!!!!
Really like the clean look, black hardware, and the color is gorgeous.

I want it to layer in winter, so it's a bigger cut than the normal "neat" fit I have in many jackets.

I just wonder: will this monster leather "settle in" as I wear it and mold more to me? I cannot tell if it's too big, or just too stiff?

Same pattern as PER70 so I can confirm. I consider it my end-game, non-vtg cross zip and this time for real. Just had it on yesterday, can't seem to think of one single thing I'd improve.

$1450. Which I consider very reasonable compared to the European and Japanese brands. Hand Made in the good ole’ USA. I like this jacket because it’s not as bulky and heavy as most Schott jackets. I’ve owned several over the years- always felt like the jacket was wearing “me” -not the other way around. But, this jacket is about close to perfection as you can expect in a riding jacket!

This is a size Small that I’m wearing. I find Schott leather run big in their sizing. I’m typically a size 38, sometimes a 40 in the Japanese and European made jackets.

My chest measurement is about 38-39 inches-I weigh about 160 lbs. 5’ 9”I do have slightly long arms for my height though. Best thing you should do is try one on if you can, because you just don’t know until you do that. Also, I’m pretty sure Schott has free exchanges. Good luck!

Thanks again. I would love to try it out, but this jacket(P623H) has been out of stock since the last couple of years. It was a limited edition and sold out pretty quickly I believe

Yes it was. You could try calling some of the Schott stores to see if they still have any in stock.

Hmmm? I would try calling other stores. Other than that, just keep your eyes open on eBay and Grailed etc. maybe you’ll find one.

I called every flagship store there is. Two of them told me about the 7 in the warehouse. I don't believe it because I have called the warehouse before an they said they had none

The description did say it was limited. I’m assuming they released these to complete with the Japanese brands.

Merv i have handled this jacket, actually a burgundy like yours, its top of the line. There aren't many jackets that are of a higher quality period, regardless of hide and region of manufacturing
