. You're Welcome). Rare they certainly are not. They could be thrown into the underrated category even if they are "entry level" cost wise. My astonished gripey point is that when SO MANY PARTIES either selling or finding these jackets are puzzled by who made them and only the few of us that know THE SECRET are aware they are made by Fidelity, then obviously, the maker did NOT effectively identify and label their product even though they literally seemed to have made THOUSANDS of these jackets. I'm choosing today for a mini rant
Ok---Here goes------
Who in THEE HELL is the brand and marketing director for Fidelity Leather????? I'll tell you who it is....... Apparently NOBODY!!!!!!!! Ever since I started this hobby, I have seen these mostly Cafe Racers with the chain hanger and the "Genuine Leather" generic label. They are CONSTANTLY misidentified, misrepresented and priced all over the damn place. Sellers will call them horsehide......50s jackets.......Rare Barn Find Moto Jacket.... etc. etc.
Its way beyond ridiculous to point of total suicidal business stupidity to NOT have your label on your products. Now I realize they are not alone in this period of time when many makers did the same idiotic thing --- Labeling their cheapo polyester blend Zip In Liners and NOT labeling the accompanying Expensive Leather Garment that they spent time to make. At least Half (and I think I'm being conservative here) of these jackets are MISSING SAID LINER.
You can find Lescos, Schotts, etc. with the liners or without but that may have other identifying features. But NOT the great mystery Fidelity Jackets. There isn't ANY indication ANYWHERE on the jacket itself (until much much later in more modern jackets). Yet there is seemingly an endless supply of these jackets surfacing all the time. The seller or the person finding the jacket always has the same earnest excitement at Seeling/Finding this Amazing Old Cafe Racer with a Metal Hanger...... It must be worth THOUSANDS!!!
Sadly, these are very common jackets made by Fidelity Leathers out of Massachusetts who apparently, is in business to NOT make money yet has somehow survived many years doing so.

In Summary, Fidelity, Decent Leather Jacket for the Price, Crappy Marketing. If you are wondering about your jacket's ID and it has a metal hanger, its 90% gonna be a Fidelity.

C'mon now. If it was a Fidelity, it would be labeled as such.The following jacket is nice, but not for the asked price. A Fidelity too, I suppose. It has the same metal chain as mentioned above. I had a police jacket with the same metal chain and a black lining, very heavy steerhide, great jacket.

Looks to be the same maker. I can’t recall if they were out of the pacific northwestern US or Canada. They appear to be nice jackets though. I’ve seen a few bearing that label.It's funny, I came across this jacket when I was looking for a Cal. The price is nice, compared to what the seller asks for a similar jacket :
