I officially became a Senior Citizen yesterday and wore my Black Sheep Hat works refurbished Dobbs Mylan-felt dualist to the beach for a 1/2 mile swim. Couldn't find the Senior's section, but I got a Shaka from one of the long board surfers looking for that big wave way off shore. Didn't need my new Medicare card. The weather in the San Francisco Bay Area is full of smokey air from the fires in the Sierras. Bad for breathing. It actually drizzled in the Oakland hills for perhaps that is a portent of rain this fall. Anyway......I am coming to the end of posting my hat collection as I believe I have three more to post including a Homburg. This one is an Optimo Manhatten in Blue Pearl.

You both look great! Although I might poke this with a stick first before I ate it. More details please ... :)

You might well poke it, we too dined out today. It's the busiest weekend that we have had since lock down. Yesterday morning and this morning we were at The Shake & Stir Festival. It was cancelled last year and postponed this year. Yesterday afternoon saw us at a rather good wedding, what a party that was. After this morning's visit back at Shake & Stir, I treated Tina to lunch at a gastro-pub. It's a proprietary owned business, not part of some conglomerate.

Fantastic. All of it. Beautiful couple, hats, restaurant, scenery, food.... wow.

Our friends were planning a move to another state. Husband quit his job, and then they found out they were pregnant. Dire straits. Move postponed, scrambling to find another job. So we took them out yesterday. I gave them the bed from our back room, took them out to a Greek restaurant for lunch. Best lamb, ever. Then to a movie. A full day with no pictures. Humbug on that part.

Warm and very humid yesterday so we both wore semi-calado hats from Ecuador.
