No, you're definitely right about the label that's on the jacket, no doub it's a Harley Davidson (and later AMF) cross zip but I'm just saying that I think that Brooks used to produce these for HD.

I like that top pocket. One thing I have halfway in mind in future is a button-front, hip-length leather with a non-zip breast pocket like that, easy place to slip gloves, a pipe, a bandana...
That’s the problem- their small is a 36 and their Medium is closer to a 40-42. Some of their stuff looks interesting, but thankfully I know it won’t fit- this pushes me to more interesting options
I noticed that sort of sizing discrepancy recently in the Dickies Eisenhower work jackets (not leather, of course). Works for me in my size, but there's a big size-band between each size. I guess that comes from them having originally been designed as workwear - function over form, an aw tha'.
Nice. I'm still working on losing weight, but I've got my eye on some leather vests with decent pockets as a jacket alternative, all being well with Summer 2022 (particularly my long-haul travel season, which fingers crossed will be back in play by next April) in mind.
I fear for my future on that score. I've alredy hadmy once-in-a-lifetime with the blessed, late Marlene Marlowe, who was so sweet-natured she ate her tablet out of my hand for those last eight months. Her sister, now 13 and still going strong is a right little madam I fear the idea of ever having to medicate. The vet has one of those high-power syringe pump things when she goes for her shots and her once a year tablet: the look of pure anger on her face when she realises that, yet again, she's been thwarted and the tablet is safely in her gut....
A friend once had a cat who learned how to actually vomit his meds back up, intact...

Lest we forget what a mofo Jeff is, short sleeves and all.
my oldest cat was short of 20 when he died, I still think it was negligent by the vet's assistants.
my remaining cat is also around 15yo now, she is still healthy but with sinus problem, another vet told me to temporarily make her living in enclosed space like a cage with blanket to ease the sinus, so I bought a cage put blanket over it to look like a cave, and I don't need to force it, the cat enjoy living in her bed room with the door open. I have capsule plunger tool that look like syringe, but I have 50% success rate with it, so I just break open capsule or pressed tablet into powder and mix it with canned food.
That´s it! I was looking at the photo and thought, thats probably what @marcmndt will look like in 30-40 years time. Short sleeves and all.
Truth is: if you have a basic sense of what suits you and wear your stuff proudly and with utter confidence, you will always look good. Bespoke suit or ill-fitting cross-zip: makes zero difference as long as you own the look.

Been watching a lot of iZombie recently. Rose McIver as Liv More has a fair few pretty cool looking leather jackets. I'm sure all "fashion" stuff, but nonetheless some nice design touches. I rather like this one:
Shade changes with lighting, obvs, but mostly it looks like the slightly more muted, petroley blue in the second shot here. The colour is very late-70s-Lewis. The cut, especially those distinctive lapels with the mandarin collar, rings a bell, but I can't place it to a brand in my head. [This will be a new jacket, but it has echoes of something older's styling.]
Crafty buggers, cats - not always easy to trick them. The dog is an angel by comparison!

Wrong! That´s the typical "Aero-crease". It comes from the jacket hanging on the neck instead of the shoulders, a wrongful neck-hole, cimate change and the fact that Greg´s wait-list is now 12 months...

I agree it looks cool and that he’s a well dressed guy but my midwestern sensibilities cannot process owning a jacket you can’t zip closed. It gets cold round here.
