I found a way to make this jacket mine. Another Hat Tip to @JMax for posting this Jewel. I had not seen this jacket. Measures out to at least a 44, the seller said no unseen issues with the leather.

I own this jacket with 2 chest pocket, Roll up buttoned cuffs, Olympic Ring zipper pulls. It also has a Sears Topline label from 1941. Most probably made by California Sportswear Company. It has no leather tag and the leather I have described as most unique. I finally determined it was Calf Skin through another jacket. Now this one, looking identical has a Goatskin label!
This will be an education. I often refer to mine as one of the finest jackets I own. This one looks to be around the same size 44/46. Very comfortable.
