Tough sale here! Just have not been a fan of the fit on this jacket since day 1. Kept it trying to decide it's ok. It is just not getting the use it deserves.

One of a Kind -- Horween Front Quarter Horse Hide which is not offered with this pattern by Aero anymore. Really beautiful Mid-Heavyweight hide on this jacket with a nice "hand" and feel. Excellent smell too - and no other odors. Clean and well kept. Lightweight Rob Roy Red/black tartan lining with cotton drill in the sleeves. Mixed Talon hardware that gives this jacket a really unique, cool look. Front-half belt with slight curvature into it's cut. Throat latch, and snap-down lapels on all 4 of this jacket. I ordered this through Thurston Brothers and have only had it over the summer.

Please note the dimensions, this is a little boxier and shorter cut jacket than I had expected. I also took photos of the dimensions, please see the second post.

Asking $925 Shipped CONUS Pal Pal -- $950 shipped to Canada/Alaska/Hawaii. DM me for pricing of overseas as I will work with you on it.

Dimensions: Tag size "44"
  • Pit to Pit -- 25"
  • Shoulders -- 19"
  • Waist -- 21"
  • Back -- 25.25"
  • Sleeve Straight - 26"
  • Sleeve Around ~ 27"

Do you think the use of CXL contributed to it staying very boxy, where a mid weight leather (as used on the original) would have draped more? I wouldn’t be surprised if this problem was somewhat widespread, leading to Aero’s decision to discontinue CXL for it.

It's possible. My understanding was it's pretty challenign to make, especially out of CXL FQHH...lot of complicated seams it appears.
