I got what I wanted. A watch that you don't have to replace the batteries. An automactic, self winding swiss made 25 jewel dinosaur. I love it. Fedora

What did Santa bring me?

Well he brought joy to my heart in seeing an 11 year old boy open his first R/C model airplane, a wife that got a painting of our beloved (and old) golden retriever and almost cried when she saw it, a smile and a twinkle in my mothers eye on receipt of a simple gift, and although she can't talk due to her stroke, she hugged me and gripped my hand.

That is what Santa brought me.

I was a very good boy so I treated myself to an MK Golden Idol and a Smith & Wesson 1917 with all the Indy mods!

Happy Holidays!

Well...

...one of my presents was an actual Nomex, flightsuit in sage. I expressed my desire in getting a pair of overalls to work in the garage and garden. They look great. But when my daugter saw me wear it while walking around the house Christmas day, she thought I looked like Jason in the Halloween movie. I think she may be right.

I don't have a hockey mask yet. But I do have axes and knives. Can you tell, I have cabin fever?

:) Just kidding guys, before the white padded truck gets sent to my house.

Hi,

My mother-in-law gave me a shaving mug that was husbands great grandfathers. That was the coolest thing.

Yep, Michael MyerS. That's the movie that made Jamie Lee Curtis a "scream queen"... and brought back the Captain Kirk Halloween mask.

My wife asked me for a list of things that I wanted for Christmas from LL Bean. I now have these new casual shirts that seem to refect the Golden Era (kind of like Hinley Sweater necks)

I also received the essential LL.Bean IndyGear pants, which fits as if they were tailored for Ol?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢Ren.

There were a few other tools and a money puzzel that you had to solve to open.

Most imporatantly, my wife found a copy of ?¢‚Ǩ?ìBackground to Danger?¢‚Ǩ?- by no means a ?¢‚Ǩ?ìClasablanca?¢‚Ǩ? but ideal for the time period.

In addition to the Dove Grey Optimo that I bought for myself, I received a grey tweed "newsboy" cap from my gal. She said that there is a 1941 Zippo somewhere in transit. She paid extra to have in ship in time for Christmas but it has yet to arrive.:(

Santa brought a new camelhair sportcoat, a tie to go with it, and a new pair of brown oxford shoes. My wife bought me a tie chain, and my first ever bow tie. Took a while to learn how to tie it.

And I can remember when I only wanted toys for Christmas!:D

Christmas in February!!

Well, it wasn't santa (though he does embody the generousity of old St. Nick), but certain individual from TFL and COW, for some strange reason, saw fit to give me a 1907 19 jewel B.W. Raymund Elgin Railroad pocket watch (the sound you just heard was my chin hitting the floor). It's in absolutely perfect condition! Most ticking packages that I get spend a day or so soaking underwater before I open them. Thank goodness I didn't do that this time!! I don't have one of those newfangled digital cameras to show you all, but take my word for it - it's a beauty! So to the fine Southern gentleman who sent it to me, I tip my hat, hoist a large cup of joe and a shot of Gentleman Jack, and offer a big "Thank You!".

Bury it in sand for a thousand years and it become priceless? Naw, this one already is!

Highest Regards,
CoffeeDude

PS - the quote on the cap is right on the money! :coffee: :D
