Glad there are some people wearing these fine shoes. I actually protected the sole with a half vibram half-sole and both heel and toe protection. Deer bone polishing is a must for shell cordovan.
I usually apply lulu plates at the tip, as this is where I get the most wear.
Yep, I always use a deer bone for polishing as well.

Nice pair of Dr Martens from the Made in England line from a few years ago. Lovely soft calf and perfect fit. Some variation in the leather but that’s ok. Ive got a few pairs of Trickers also but I prefer wearing these. I wish DMs would bring back more of these vintage styles, rather than the ungainly looking clod-hoppers that they seem to make now.

White’s Boots had a pop up Sale at Filson store in Ballard WA this weekend.
A few guys from White’s made the 300 mile drive over with a load of boots.
Spotted this pair of Farmer/Rancher Boots and they made a great price on them.

Been wearing them all day today. I like the Archeaze build and the single stitching on sole. Makes them much less bulky wearing than the double sole stitch.

Sometimes it's good to try something new. Cowboy boots are new to me.

These RRL roughout boots were made in Texas by Rios of Mercedes. The vegetable tanned roughout leather is said to be sourced from Ralph Lauren's cattle ranch in Colorado. I don't know whether that's true or not -it sounds like something the marketing department made up - but the roughout sure is nice. It features two inch Cuban heels and bark-tanned leather outsoles.

I got a bit carried away with the western theme when I bought this studded belt and hand painted native American vest.

Matching these items into one outfit is a bit too much imo, unless you live in Texas and you commute to work by horse lol.

These are outfits I could wear without feeling self-conscious. Actually, I think they look really cool. I'm very happy with my new look :D

The last one would be perfect with some heavy wear on the jeans and the top four buttons open on the shirt :D I'd maybe throw in a red neckerchief as well. Those boots are so awesome.
