OK, I have never done this before....I bought htis dress at a vintage shop the other day and decided it was too big for me and I don't want to try to alter it. I have not tried to take any measurements yet because I don't buy clothes that way but i can if you ask. I wear about a size 8 and it rather too large for me through the bosom. I think it would probably be about a size 10 or 12. It hangs very loose on me throught the waist and hips.

I picked this up at a vintage shop in Seattle. I am guessing it is circa 1935. It has a velvet yoke and box sleeves with this interesting necklace thing attached. It has a button in the back and three snaps on the side. The velvet is in good condition. The sleeves are gathered over the shoulder and have 3 sparkly buttons on each and a snap at the wrist. The body of the dress is out of a rayon type fabric and is in excellent condition. The skirt panel is made up of the back pieces, two side fronts and three strips of matching fabric down the middle that are difficult to see in the photo.

What I paid...$75. It's yours for that + shipping
