No full length pics yet, but will try to find some! It was the most amazing time of my life! Here's what I've got so far.

I was going to comment that the pocket square looked out of place but then I saw that last photo and it looks like it does in fact match the shirt. In the other photos the shirt is overexposed & looks plain white.

It is really hard to tell from these photos what all is going on. You may have to don your outfit again and have someone take shots for you or get a tripod and put your camera on a delay. But from what I can see, you've got a great look that I'm sure set you apart from the crowd. How'd your girl dress?

The outfit looks great. The pocket square picks up the color of the vest and the tie pulls everything together with the jacket and trousers very nicely. The boutonni?®re is a nice touch. I'm sure you outshone the other guys there.

black dress...very elegant with matching corsage to my boutonniere...couldnt do anything about it. I hesitate to post pictures of her gorgeous self without her permission :p

The lines of the pocket square actually match a few tones on the tie...it would have been white but i somehow lost all three of my white squares...then the tie continues to pull on a bit of the boutonniere...I was originally going to wear a matching vest to the jacket but chose to lend it to a friend of mine who was stuck with a very ill fitting rental vest...interestingly, almost all the guys in my group are the same size...haha

(Sorry to peek, gents, but I just had to comment on this one...)

That's a great outfit! I do agree that the pocket square does look a bit awkward in a couple of those pictures, but otherwise it is a very sharp look! Too bad you didn't go to high school in Maine and a couple of years earlier... you would have fit right in with my crew! (We were the underground network of "weird kids" that kinda had the run of the school and operated pretty much like a mob family - minus the "whacking" - so naturally, we earned the name The Mafia, and naturally, for our last big stand in high school, we went dressed in swing dresses and zoot suits! ;-) )

I really like how you used differently spaced stripes for the shirt and slacks (see photo #1). That looks real sharp. Kudos!

[Update - Upon moving to a different computer screen, it looks like the stripes in photo #1 may be water streaks from the mirror. Nevertheless, and moving on, I will compliment you on the use of different textures].

I though prom was an evening event?

Yes, you'd be quite right...However, there are pictures, food, and activities all beforehand that were bright and early...Regardless, I like the cut and fit of a morning coat more than any tuxedo I've ever seen...

Thank you very much for the comments all!

Haha...yes...believe me, had my date permitted, i'd have been shaved and combed...Experience has promised me to please the women on such an important day as prom...Besides, I pale in comparison to her in terms of looks :(

Implying what? That Slicedbread made an error in wearing a morning coat to an evening/night event? Frankly, it doesn't bother me.

What are you a farmer? :p
