Doesn't the dark set include the Raspberry blush? That is actually my favorite shade. My regular container opened up in my cosmetic bag and broke awhile back; I was so disappointed, but I am using up my Sweet Pink stash before rebuying it. :)

I meant in the vanity case--the powder they include is darker than the translucent loose powder. :)

Ah, yes! I was getting the different sets you could buy confused. You are correct :) But I think I remember the description for the 3 piece gift set saying the dark set had dark powder. Or maybe I am just having one of those days where I confused myself a lot :p lol

Yes, I think the dark set has a "dark translucent powder." (??) It also seems like the vanity case refills are beeing discontinued, at least I couldn't find the products anywhere on the beasme website, so buying the case with the hope to replace the colors and products might be not be a good idea.

They never actually offered refills--I think they simply phased out the vanity case and in order to release a better product soon. Since the case is being sold at a discount now, I think some of us were toying with the idea of picking one up just to have a convenient case to drop in our purses again (I've used up all of the eye shadows in my first case.):)

I had heard that Portrait Pink was very pale. It looks like such a pretty color in the tube, though!

Shearer, would you describe Wild Orchid as a fuchsia color?

I would, it's definitely not in the purple spectrum like I was expecting. The colour that the liquidation page on eBay is really purple looking - almost like a wine colour. I tried finding a colour somewhere on the web that looked like the actual Wild Orchid shade, and wouldn't you know Wikipedia came through on their fuchsia entry lol

That might look a little off-putting, but it really is a nice shade. Like I said, it's definitely not going to go with everything you wear, but it could be a stunner with white and black. I'm wearing Wild Orchid with white in a pic a page or two back.

It looks very nice on you, and that is certainly a color I could wear as well (the brighter, the better for me. :)) It would be neat if they came out with a Shocking Pink shade, like NARS did in tribute to Schiaparelli. I think that would be another fun color to wear when feeling really bold. :)

I like Besame's Debutante Pink - it's a nice, bright pink shade, but probably not as hot as a Shocking Pink would be. Also, it's slightly frosted, and therefore more drying than their matte colors.

I´m just waiting for information on how much the shipping will be. I´m often put of by high shipping-costs, so I´ll wait and see (and hope they don´t sell out all their stuff before I´m prepared... *sigh*)

@Helen.
Maybe we could order together and share the shipping costs?
With the new Smartpost the shipping inside Norway might be as little as
15 kroner.

The full cost will be products plus shipping. From that amout customs will add 25% moms plus a fee of approx 80 kroner.

They won't sell out! They've got over 100 of everything, and over 400 of some and they're only going down by one or two a day!

They quoted me $8 for shipping, and actually charged me $1.80, but I put a note in my paypal transaction saying "Please invoice me for the extra" and they didn't! [huh]

Fleur: That´s good news cause the prices to Germany won´t be that different... Oh my... my boyfriend will complain that I go and get me even more make up... but it´s a too great bargain to stay away and I can use it private and for shoots ;)

Portrait Pink

Okay, so here's the Portrait Pink. I think it's growing on me... I just have to wear the right colours with it... but it does mix with other colours well, too. I'm forever mixing lipstick shades.

Please excuse the deer-in-the-headlights/nothing-behind-the-eyes look  I'm working on 3 hours of sleep.

Oh, and that translucent powder that comes with it... smells divine!

I had wanted to buy both shimmer beige and socialite brown, so I picked up the dark compact. I see now why Besame is so expensive - the lovely packaging! Looks very pretty on my vanity. I am very pleased with the colors, and I tried the black liner today too and it looks very nice. Guess I'll have to use the blush too! I have the wild orchid lipstick too and I find it mixes well with the chocolate kiss shade I also got. So pretty!

EDIT: Note to self: when putting large blush brush in Raspberry blush, cover up black eyeliner! lol

portrait pink lipstick

Shearer,
I love that color on you! It really is a pale pink, but not as pale as I assumed. Now I may have to go buy that Trio set on the bay after all! I'm looking for a light, casual everyday lipstick and maybe that will work for me.
Thanks for posting the pic!

Shearer, that color actually looks very nice on you. It matches your dress perfectly, too. :)

And Bella, I accidentally swept up some Black Pearl eye shadow along with the blush just the other day, and then had a time of it getting the black smudge of my cheek. lol

I just ordered a ton of samples, and cant wait to get them. The colors just look so perfect! As a lipstick junkie I´m always after the perfect color and the perfect wear. So far my favorite has been Chanel Hydrabase. Maybe I can add another soon...?

Good idea, but with the shipping rates they have I think it will be cheaper ordering by ourself. Plus, I try to not go over the 200kr moms-rule.
