I drive a '91 Honda Civic. It's very clean and in good service. Like mint condition. It's a real chick magnet, and a real friggin' joke :D

My Rolex is worth more than my car. In fact anyone of my suits is worth more than my car.

My new car will probably be a Toyota Corolla, whenever I decide to get one. See a trend here? ;)

I'll throw in my car as well since I just happened to take a picture of it today. A 1987 Pontiac Trans Am

20 years old, certainly not vintage, but my Dad bought it new in '87 (at age 54!) and I've loved it since I was born.

Looks pretty good. But with today's plastic cars you'd never know.

This is my 1985 Celica Supra. It's my favorite car out of the three I own. I got it for $2k from a fella who was going to turn it into a show car but then hit a deer and I've been fixing it up ever since. It's easy to work on, fun to drive, and uncommon around where I live. And, it has the world's most comfortable seats. I love so called "Old School Toyotas."

This is my '92 Lexus SC 300. I flew to St. Louis to get it. It's a low-mileage 5-spd model. Manual transmission SCs are quite rare and are valued by the tuner community because they're a Mk4 Supra under that nice Lexus skin. When the Supra is fixed, I'll swap in a Japanese spec twin-turbo motor for a little extra added go. And, I'll replace the nasty factory wheels.

Finally, this is my '72 Saab Sonett III. It's a basket-case project that came in boxes, but it'll be a vintage racer some day. The engine, a Ford V-4, runs but the clutch is shot. I hope to have it drivable by the end of the summer. I bet most people didn't know Saab had a hand-built fiberglass sports car!

Not mine... yet. Thinking about selling the motorcycle to help fund buying this.
Saw it for sale for $6200 in the parking lot of a motorcycle show. Frame up restoration, with some minor hot rodding.

Ladies and Gentlemen..
My confession is that my cars arent at all in keeping with my Fogey Image ( i suppose one has to make certain exceptions for it beng 2007.. such as having a pc, electricity and a mobile phone.. and the cars!!)

Not vintage, but couldn't help it. 2001 Ford Taurus in the blizard that hit Las Vegas this winter, buurrrrr, no one could move, roads were closed, snow chains needed to be pulled out, people were afraid the Donner Party was going to be reinacted......ok I went to far....lol. It snowed a lil' bit.
But it is now MY car, finially paid off.

Very nice selection of vehicles here.... :)

Here is my "Fun" vehicle... 1996 Suzuki X-90 4X4. From 1996-98 only 7,205 X-90s were imported into the US in total. You either love the little bugger or hate it... ;)

Congratulations Faythe on paying off your car!!!!:eusa_clap :eusa_clap
I totally know how you feel. I leased my car at the end of 2001. I actually got incredibly lucky, for it was the salesman's first day on the job. The dealership was incredibly busy and the sales manager just signed off on the paper work without really looking it over. Let's just say I grabbed the car and sped off before they could notice what the guy had done.
I got a phone call later that evening from the sales manager saying that there had been a huge mistake in the paper work and I had to bring the car back. When I said no, I had the signed papers and the registration, he threatened to call the cops and report the car stolen! I don't know if he thought he could put one over on me, for I was just some young girl. I told him to call the cops. I had the paper work all signed and the registration.
It ended up getting pretty scary and my Dad had to drive in from RI to take me to the dealership the next day and explain our legal rights. It wasn't my problem that they had charged me $100 less a month than they were supposed to, that they allowed me 15,000 miles a year instead of 12, that they gave me my first month and last month payment for free, no money down no security deposit, and that the buy out for the car was $4,000 less than it was supposed to be!!! Lucky me!! In the end, after pulling a bunch of illegal shenanigans they realized that there was nothing they could do.
So, when it came time for my lease to end, I just bought out the car. Even the dealership told me that I should buy it out rather than turn it in for a new lease. Although I loved the new style of the Volvo, I figured I would buy out my slightly used Volvo, and if I wanted a new one I could sell mine for a profit.
I bought it out 3 years ago, and just finished paying it off. It's a 2001 and only has 22,000 miles on it. Every time I bring it to the dealership for a service, they make me an offer on it. I guess because of the low mileage, and the particular year and amenities it has, they think they could sell it quickly. But, I rather like not having a car payment and I don't drive enough to warrant a new car. Besides, it's got such low mileage on it that it feels new to me.

RBH, your cars are very cool. They only sold the Corrado for a few years here in the states. I don't know if it's different where you are, but I always really liked them:) I think the early version of it was the Schiarroco. Now I've dated myself, by me oh my that was one heck of a car in it's day!! The Corrado got great write ups while it was being sold here.

That Suzuiki is really cool!:D
