As per the usual with the 34th Inf. Div, the 125th FA, and the army, the schedule has changed. This will be my last posting from IRAQ. I joined this outfit as a solitary replacement from a different national guard state and ill be leaving that way as well. Just went through all the motions of paperwork, routine short medical documentations, turned in excess ammo, the "thorn in my side" pro-mask and NODs, left gear to guys that need it more than i will, called the wife to say i love her and tell her that she wont hear from me til i am back in the states, and begun the waiting game of hurry up and wait and being told to move out to the strip and wait for the ride out of here. Again, thanks to all and i hope to be in your rough-AO within the next week. Hey, it just occured to me that now i can list on a job application that i know the difference between incomming and outgoing...this life is definately panning out for me already! Good luck everyone! you know, aside from my wedding day, i cant ever remember being this happy.

Much thanks to you, sir, for your service to our country! I do not envy your hard work or risks taken, but I certainly envy your courage! I applaud you and all the other soldiers for the work you do! :eusa_clap

I have always and will always support our uniformed men and women. Should the day rise when our shores are breached by foreign military, you can bet I'll be on the front line right along with you!
