Just saw this one this morning and couldn't resist on the buy it now. Especially since it came with box. I haven't bought any hats in quite a while but these last 2 were too hard to pass up.

Looks like the box is circa mid-60's. Let us know what the price tag says when you get a chance.

Yes I know, but try explaining that to my wife.

This will be the 5th Playboy I have, I have 2 others that are just like this one with no liners and the print on the inside of the crown. The other 2 have liners. What intrigued me was the color, on my monitor it looks to have a slight touch of blue in the gray, which is hard to find. I'll post some more pics when it comes.

The box looks 60s but I'm not sure the hat is, I think its more likely late forties or 50s.

Seems like the 60s Playboys were very ugly stingy brims. Here's a pic of one, and yes this really is a Stetson Playboy. Sheesh, what were they thinking?

Thanks for the compliments, the gray one is actually much darker than the pic shows. It's more a deep gunmetal gray, but the camera washed it out. I got these twins last summer together in one bid in that double hat box, both looked virtually unworn. I'm almost ashamed to tell you I got the 2 hats and the hatbox for $45.00. Almost, but not quite. I couldn't believe nobody else bid higher. But that's ebay for you.
