Well after thrifting for months I've finally found a vintage suit jacket that will actually fit me. It's a bit more than I usually pay... 12 bucks but I think it was worth it. Now the trouble is finding a pair of vintage pants to to with it!

I'll be posting pics soon.

I've found a lot of nice suits but all too small until today.

it's tough. I'm a 44 long and well, I think 3 guys back then were a 44 long.

Hats are no problem, but suits...

Got some pics of it now.

Three button front, the label is missing though. Heavy shoulder pads and very heavy thick wool.

And the best part is it fits a 44 long! Bad part... no pants.

Even if you don't have vintage pants or pants to match i suggest you where pants in general as that jacket wont work well stylewise with a kilt.

Congratulations on your find, it looks like a pretty stout jacket. Keep scouting for trousers and you'll find some good pairs.

Thanks Matt,

I wasn't sure with the heavy weight of the wool I though I'd just go with the whitie-tightie look, but now I'll wear pants!

Oddly enough they did have a pair of vintage highwaisted button fly pants there, but they were a 1950's pastel color with flecks and I didn't think they'd go with my jacket...
