I was watching this suit on ebay and then I fell asleep - the biggest problem with being in the uk!

It went for less than $10 dollars. I hope someone on here got it.

I definitely agree with Kitty regarding the sniping. I buy a lot of vintage from the US on Ebay because the exchange rate is in our favour and you can get some fantastic bargains. However this means that the auctions usually end at 4 in the morning so I always use a sniping programme for these auctions or when I'm out and can't get to a computer. I use Bid Burglar.

the suit sold for about $135.00. I think it's worth every penny (expecially in that size) just more than I had. I actually really like that seller too.

Ugh--that's really a heartbreaker if it was in your size--I expected over $200.

I actually bought a similar bright coral heavily beaded cardigan the other week. It was quite cheap and I liked the unusual colour but I've since noticed a moth hole which I'm not sure how to repair. Boo!

The 40s western shirt had water damage marks which is why I didn't want to pay a ridiculous amount and the 50s cropped beaded jacket only went for a few more dollars than my own sniped amount. I am so gutted :(

I have purchased some things from this lady before and had no problems. I think she must be a good poser and pinner. She packages things very well also.

Ok, it's a Lili Ann. It's a larger size (about a modern 14). It's lovely, no doubt but $902.00? That seems a bit much.

Yes, I was really amazed by this one as well... I wish I could spend that much myself, so I'm just really jealous, but also quite curious... Who are these people spending minor fortunes on vintage clothing on eBay? :)

That suit is red-carpet worthy. I can see it on Helen Mirren or someone, to a premiere or something like that. There are plenty of rich folks in the world to buy such stuff. I sure would if I had the dough!

I am still suspect of these auctions from this person. Why theirs and only their auctions sell for such crazy high amounts? Not to mention every item they have up for auction is always selling with multiple bids? Weird. I have had some nice pieces up before and never experienced that before.

correction: I badly wanted these and they went for only $5.50. But sadly even with my tiny feet, they were just too stinking narrow. :( Sigh

The color, the deco detailing near the heel, THOSE LITTLE BOWS! So, so cute. And that price! At least they wouldn't have fit you. That's some (small) comfort.
