Christmas Eve...

I wish I had a better pic. The background is really dark and you can't see the pin curl on the side, Oh yeah, it was the end of the night and I forgot to get a pic prior to changing out of my Christmas dress...Oh well, you get the idea.

Goldwyn girl - Your rolls are perfect. How do you get them so smooth and even? Do you use a rat?

Thanks MarieAnne, I don't use a rat. I comb the hair out, tease it with a natural bristle brush, roll and pin it to place and smooth the outside.

Adele, I've never had anyone compliment my eyebrows before, thank you  And your short style looks perfectly waved.

Pink, love that wild style on you. I'm going to see Sweeny Todd next week.

MaryDeluxe, Fabulous style and colour.

pennyseranade, lovely curls and what big eye's you have, lucky gal

this is my hair on christmas eve. it was my first time using Hot Sticks, and can i just say they were the best $40 i ever spent!!! so effective and easy to use. i sectioned off the front, side and back hair, used some sort of fructis curl mousse, let it dry, rolled it all on the rollers, went about my party prep, and undid the rollers. i pinned the sides back, rolled the front (i was trying to do a cute faux-bang thing but couldn't pull it off since the hair in the section was two radically different lengths) back, and added a couple bows. the back looked so good! the gal who cut my hair layered the back and cut it into a slight u-shape and it made a such a difference! unfortunately i got very few pictures before my boyfriend dropped and broke my camera, so i have no side- or back-views to show you. the next morning i pulled off a great hairdo with the remaining curl, and i have camera-phone pics coming my way, which i will post when i get them!

NO Makeup.... :(

Ok...I just wanted to post something spur of the moment. I have no makeup on, so let's just look at the hair! I also must apologize for horrid picture taking...

The front with a waved pomp. It turned out ok. I do this or rolls every day. The waves are deeper in person...the camera didn't capture them well.

Pincurled back. I can get three days out of a set it if roll it back up dry to sleep on. I do not use curling irons because the curls do not last.

OH MY!!! you are SO cute!!! i have to know how did you get the wave in the front like that? also how long is your hair when it's not curled? do you have bangs or is your hair all one length?
i would love to see a before, during and then after pic if you could.....may be one with you hair al la natural' then one with it all pinned up so we can see the way you pin and curl it and then one when it's done.
this is the look i have been trying to get and you pull it off so well and make it look so easy!
