If you had $1000 to splurge on one ingestible (smoke, eat, drink) item, you would buy? Think it would live up to the hype?

Me, being the coffee gal I am, yes, I would get a pound ($160) of the Kopi Luwak coffee

Then Id try the others on the list....

oooohhhh a $1000 dollar pizza sounds gooooood. lets see...how about...aw hell i dont know. for $1000 i'd probably buy a jacket or something. i cant think of any ingestible item...maybe the most expensive cigar i can find. i dont know.

thats what i was thinking but i figured we could just go the Vix Eatery in the Hotel Victor in South Beach, Miami and buy the La Corona from 1937 for $1000 and they throw in a bottle of Prohibition era whiskey...sounds like a deal to me...read on, monsier

Cheese? Different types. There is a cave aged Gruyere that Hubby and I love, along with a cheddar from Dorset that is aged forever and is sooooooooooooo good....

Well, I'd love to bring for the gang some Black Diamond Extra Sharp Aged Canadian Cheddar. Oh, and some fresh press cider, a bit of Hudson Valley Fois gras, some Czech sausage and a few loaves of Italian bread from Ballisteri's Bakery in Buffalo.

As for myself, a few years ago, up in San Francisco with the wife , we had dinner at Aliotos on Fishermen's Wharf. On the menu was a sixty-five dollar lobster tail that was, quite frankly, the most exquisite meal I ever had. So, If I had a Grand, I'd take TWO!
