Musso & Frank? White Horse Tavern? Big Texan Steak House and Motor Lodge?

Sounds great. Or how about we rent a huge party barge in St. Louis and party on the Mississippi? We could call our little soiree the "Hazard to River Navigation". :p

(We live in Tennessee, but St. Louis is close to Lulu's dad's home in southern Illinois...so we would definitely attend!)

I'd go to Morton's Steakhouse, and after they finish the visual presentation of the menu, I'd order "all of that, please. Yes."

That should be about a grand.

Hmm, I'd definitely be tempted to splurge on a first growth Bordeaux or maybe a few boxes of Montecristo #2's...possibly a few pre-Castro vintage Cubans.

Being a vegetarian, there are few meals I could enjoy for 1K...not to say I wouldn't try.

A bottle of Chateau d'Yquem, Sauternes. Whatever vintage I could get at $1000.
That is on my list of wines I would love to taste, if only I knew somebody with a bottle and a willingness to share ...
