I wanted to add my sentiments to this thread for your successful and complete recovery from this temporary setback.

Your hat that you're making for me to wear will wait. It's too hot here to wear it now anyway and will be too hot for some time yet. By all means, attend to yourself first and let us know of your progress.

No one is happier with your custom hats and "reworks" than I am but not all of them put together is worth your health or one bad day for you.

I noticed this thread and could not believe all the responses on just one day. It is a testament to what people think of you personally, and your work. Please take care of yourself and take your time with the orders. Your clients are loyal and respect you like no other hatter.

Art, I wish you the best of health, but I know you won't need it. You're put here to create beautiful hats, and you won't be getting tired of it, or in a position not to do what you love any time soon. Don't you worry about that. You bring too much joy to people.

And secondly, I know you'll have to be happily making hats long enough for me to finally order mine, and long after.
