Apart from Chippie-spotting of course! lol

My mum and are are going to be coming to the Phoenix area in October for about 5 days. We want to go to do a day-trip to the Grand Canyon and she wants to go to Sedona, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of fun stuff, or must-sees? I think we'll be staying in Scottsdale, but it's not 100% confirmed yet. But if there was a chance of meeting any FLers, I'd jump at it! I'll confirm the dates when I know em, but please do let me know any insider info, locals!

Fleur!

The Chippies must get together with you,...and yes, loads of stuff to do.

Let us know your exact dates and duration and we will provide you with loads of information.

Where are you staying? The Hotel Valley Ho?

oooh so exciting...!!!

I will make sure to pass this on to the Chipps!

Do you know what days you are coming?

Maybe we can plan our October lunch around you and take you to some great antique shops and maybe Hollywood Regency! I would love to meet the gorgeous Fleur!

Sounds like a great trip. I have never been but I would really love to visit.

Ahhhh... the thoughts of hot and dry. So different to cold and wet which is what is like here, even though it IS August! :rage:

desi I think we're going to stay at the Hyatt Regency, which looks fancy and has some amazing pools, which my mum is a fan of (she won't be bothered by the temp either! I might be though :eusa_doh: ) Plus we get our 4th night free, or something. Though I hadn't seen the Hotel Valley Ho and it looks awesome. I will show my mum!

Pink The plan is to arrive on Tuesday 14th and stay until Sunday 19th. So if people were free on that Saturday (or any day really) it would be the perfect end to a trip! :D

The Hotel Valley Ho is a must, even if it is for drinks and such. Maybe we can have our Chippie Lunch at the Hotel Valley Ho? (Or Trader Vic's)

Should we make this a co-ed event? There are a few local fellas from Phoenix who are on the Lounge.

Wear comfy shoes, as the Chippies will have you everywhere.....for shopping etc. LOL lol And of course with the sun you will have a chance to use a pretty parasol.
