Old Fashioned Facial Soap

Can anyone find me some stores (like savon or rite aid) around L.A. or the like that carry Lux bar soap.

Can anyone find me some Lux flakes anymore? (even if its online!)

Any reviews on Lux, is it really as good as they say?

You're probably not going to find it in Savon or Rite-Aid - I'm sure you looked there and asked if they could get it before posting here. Lever Brothers has other more popular lines of soap these days.

Using Google, it's available from the Vermont Country Store. All I did was type Lux soap into Google.

Most other online sources required you buy a case (72 bars).

Hi Dahliaoleander---Lux Flakes are now only available in Australia, however, in The U.S., they can be bought online from a site that sells Australian products.

Sunlight is also available pretty much everywhere in Canada, if you ever take a northern trek!

LUX and Sweetheart Facial Soap

Hey Ladies

I was surfing the net for some beauty products and came across these soaps that were used back in the day. From what I have read.. LUX was the soap that ALL movie stars used to keep thier complexion beautiful...
The other one.. Im not to sure but it says that its one of the first facial bars made??

Has anyone ever tried these?? Im curious to get some and see how I like it...

I found Pears soap and have been using it for for the past few days. My face is itchy, I have swollen eyelids and dry patches all over my face.
I found some great reviews online, my body is fine with it but my face is rebelling. I guess its back to my Dove Beauty Bar.

I have the Sweetheart soap,
when i have guests i put a cake out on their bed with a towel,
wouldn't use on my face though.

Have you tried looking for LUX in an Indian food / import shop? I see it there all the time..

the itchy and dry patches is what I get when I use
Dove! lol, skin, you just never know how its going to react to anything!

Oh MY Really??

We have tons here in Cali... hmm.. I think I am going to have to make a trip to the store!

BTW.. I placed my order with the Vermont Country Store.. Last week - anyone know about how long they take to ship the soap?

I am soo upset!
I placed my order for the lux soap from the vermont store.. and they NO LOGER CARRY the soap!

I was sooo sad! I searched and searched.. and i still cant find the darn soap!

I tried the local asian and indian market.. and NADA.. so my search continues!

Any ideas?

THey have tonz of it! What are the odds! LOL

More than willin to pay for the soap.. I keep hearing such good things about it!~

Im going to ask my Friends whom goes to differnt asian markets to see if she can find some! Im crossing my fingers!
