Oh my! And for less than sixty bucks! I know what I want for Christmas this year.

I bought the Cabin Fever VHS tapes back in the early 90s, and was amazed at how good the films looked -- having grown up seeing them as patched-up/cut-up 16mm TV prints, seeing the original MGM/Roach release versions was an absolute revelation. If the DVDs are half as good as the tapes were it'd be well worth the money.

I've always loved the Jackie/Chubby/Farina era in this series -- there's an unprettied grittiness in the settings and stories that gives a real flavor of Depression-era life, and the kids are natural talents. Good to also see some of the silents included -- a few of these came out on the VHS tapes as well, but the entire silent Gang is long overdue for a proper release.

WOW! That is complete. I remember watching those in my youth. Those were some talented kids.

WOW! That's great news.

I've been watching Our Gang since I was in kindergarten. My Mom and Dad enjoyed them when *they* were kids. I think what initially captivated me was that they depicted what it was like to be a kid when my parents were growing up (or, at least that was what I thought at the time). My favorite is probably the 1930 episode entitled "Teacher's Pet" that introduces June Marlowe as Miss Crabtree.

I also got the Cabin Fever VHS sets back in the early 1990s and have enjoyed them immensely. In addition, I've acquires some of the silents along the way, and like Lizzie, would like to see a complete set of these introduced as well.

Do all of the silents still exist?

Not that I'm complaining, but how is Amazon able to sell this for under $60? There's an astounding amount of material included!

I bought the Video series years ago (Cabin Fever) it has all the episodes except the 8th disc extras. Bummer as I wish I had the DVD set now.

What a time it was coming home from school to watch The Little Rascals on TV.

One of my favs is "The Kid From Borneo". "Yum Yum eatum up!" Scared the daylights out of me as a kids.....which surprises me that the politcal correct crowd didn't get this yanked and burned.
