Hi Folks,

Does anyone know of any hat shops in or near Western Mass?

I know one called The Brim and Crown in Springfield, Mass, where I have bought two hats. The guy who runs the place is Richard, and he is very nice. He has a website: http://www.brimandcrown.com

Does anyone know of any other shops that are not too far from this area?

You might consider a road trip to visit Aaron in North Conway, NH. Make a day of it and hit the outlets and enjoy the mountains.

Hi Scott,

Thanks for the reply. I'm afraid that's about 4 hours drive for me, and, I can get to New York City in about 3 hours.

I'm from NH and the White Mountains are beautiful, but I'm afraid I will go out of my way to stay away from any outlet mall.

Thanks for the tip about Aaron's!

Altough I have not ordered from B&C, Richard did answer my email very quickly and offered to send any of his hats overseas even though the site cannot take international orders. Very good response and good service offered. They have a nice range of stingies...I was looking at his site today and may order from him soon...

I'm glad you're getting a good response from Richard. I'm planning to go to his shop today for one last spring/summer hat for the season. I'll post pics when I get it.
