Which suit for prom/ball?

I really hate to bring this up again, and I´m quite sure about your answers, but still, I need an advice.

There is my old high school´s prom this thursday. The proms here are quite different from the american ones, judging from what I´ve seen in movies. They are supposed to be more traditional, but nobody ever wears a black tie and even light suits can be seen there. I am often sick of the outfits I see there...

I tried all my outfits which can be classified as "semi-formal evening wear" and here are all four candidates (I know that the pants color in nr. 3 seems to be different, but it´s not, it just reflects light differently):



The first is double breasted peaked lapel jacket and grey trousers. Seems to be more like formal day wear, but I think it looks good and therefore can be used.

The second one is clear, the only interesting thing is a mismatched vest.

Number three is the same suit, but with matching vest.

Number three is peaked lapel pinstripe black suit, which doesn´t fit me perfectly and I don´t have time to have it altered. This is the outfit I will probably be least notable in. (which is almost unthinkable for me )

So which one? All options will probably qualify me as one of the best dressed man of the evening. (sad, but true)

Number 1 and number 3 are both good. I reckon if you extend the sleeves a bit on the first suit, it would be the best.

I really like number 2, but not for an evening affair. Great looks, all.

I also like two. If it's not Black Tie, then why not? I think the added visual interest of the contrasting waistcoat will be a big hit, IMHO.

I like #2. To me, the first one looks too business-like for an evening out.

#1 is a bit more Val Kilmer's Bruce Wayne while 2 and three are more aristocratic.

4 is standard looking and you wont stand out.

I say #1 smart and stylish.

I asked my closest friends the same questions and it seems it will be number one. I like it too.

The sleeves are a bit short, but nobody will notice. It also has quite low armholes, but I´m not really into dancing, so it shall be no problem. It´s good for standing at the bar with the ladies, which is the plan.

I like the cuffs on #1, but I like #s 2 and 3 for the vests...I've always been big on vests.

Oh my God! They must be kidding me!
The after-party is in a club where is no coat check, so I would have to take care of my hat in a place with 200+ teenagers with no respect for other´s personal belongings, especially hats... That´s impossible! I will not put up with this!
