Need help Identifying a Jacket

I just finished watching "Back to the Future" and payed a lot of attention to the scenes in 1955 (when Marty goes back in time).
My question to you all is, what type of Jacket does he wear?

It looks sort of like a hollywood style jacket but is much shorter and seems to be made out of Rayon(?). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, if anyone knows where to pick one of these up, let me know.
and sorry if this has been covered before. If it has, just point me in the direction of the old thread/threads.

Looks like a Ricky Jacket to me, very popular in the early 50's, and called "Ricky" because Ricky Ricardo wore them on "I Love Lucy." They come up on eBay and ones in good condition are tough to find. Several Repros are available as well.
I'm sure more erudite members will chime in with more information.

CRAZY! I came in here to make the exact same topic after seeing BTTF on TBS today.

Any links to any repros? I've searched the usual places over the last three or so hours on and off and haven't found anything.
