I can almost feel the collective cringe from some of the big brimmed purists

Stingy Brims?

What truly amazes me is how good everyone looks in these stingy brims. I've tried several and it doesn't seem to work for me. But then again maybe it's my melon head. Gave both of them to my son and it works on him. For me pretty much anything under two inches just doesn't look good.

Bravo to those of you who do make it work!

I then put the cold wet hat on my head [what a man will do to reshape a hat..... sheesh!!] I then went to work pulling and stretching the front of the brim to get the cupping out. Viola & Presto, like magic it is gone! Judge for yourself ... I gave the crown a tight pinch & BTW the cold wet hat is still on my noggin. ...

They're not mine, they all belong to Adam, the poster whom I've quoted. He caught a lot of flack for some of those stingies and may have quit posting because of it. While they're not my style, I think he looks great in them.
