Two new Not for Profits will be creeping in.

One will involve a group of educators in Indiana reaching out to educators in Ecuador.

The second will involve my family in a relationship with the weavers and workers in Montecristi.

Throw some names out, o creative ones.

Thanks,
Robert

For the first I'm not sure, for the second:

"Weaving Hope:

A non profit organization dedicated to keeping the art of Montecristi alive"

Or some such thing.

Sincerely,
Rob

ok, you made me think of this all day. :p
I was trying to get a decent acronym for the two of them.
Perhaps I am stretching:
---Teachers for the Equadorian Children Helpcenter.----TEACH
---Weavers and Workers for Education, Advancement and Vocation of Equador----WEAVE
Yeah yeah I know keep my day job. ;)

Regards to all,

J

Hmm. Indiana Jonesing For The Quest To Educate Ecuador? (Which conveniently spells IJQEE.)

(Sorry, I couldn't really top James Powers'...his sound pretty good to me. [huh]

Thanks, guys. I have until February 8th, so I still have time.

At school"

Teach1Reach1 is popular. We haven't done a search on it yet.

On the Second one:

I do like Weaving Hope.

For the family NFP we do need some board members? Any willing hatters, or hat lovers? We're just in infancy, but all input is welcomed.

I think that:

Working Ethically As Vultures Exploit (WEAVE) would be too mean spirited.

I know sometimes it probably seems as if I'm spouting Sour Grapes. When the first one of you goes down with me to Ecuador, I'm positive you'll understand what I mean and that I am not pouting.

Monterey? San Pedro? San Diego?

Not good names at all for folks here in Indiana. I'd like to have a Spanish/English thing going, but who knows.

I'm kidding, you know.

I'm partial to The James Powers Foundation, The Sharpetoys Symposium, or the Andykev Alliance.

Hahahahhahaha! I wish I had the money to give to such things. The James Powers Foundation sounds like something set up to rate automobiles. ;)

Regards to all,

J

Every hat we sell from that day forward will have a specific portion given back. Not just the finest hats. Not just the most expensive hats. Right now I have no set % given back, save the regular salaried people and when I get (overly) generous. The scope needs to broaden out and stop coming from the pocket.
