All except This Gun for Hire are available in a set from Amazon for just $34.95.

A thought just occured to me as I am typing this. I could create an Amazon store for our website. If you guys were to order from that instead of ordering straight from Amazon or other site, it would help support

Film Noir.

I have Gun Crazy, and Out of the Past on VHS.....I recommend Out of the Past as a supurb Film Noir. Gun Crazy was kinda strange....

I just got Dark Passage on DVD...so now I have it both DVD and VHS.

The Dark Passage DVD has sort of a "making of" history feature, and the trailer. It also has a WB cartoon with Bugs Bunny and Bogart. Cute.

Those are all movies I've been waiting to see for a while now. i think I've seen 'Murder My Sweet' on TCM, but that's it - the print quality of most of those videotapes is not-so-hot. I'm really glad they're all coming out on DVD.

Veronica Lake looks great on DVD.

Andykev, please tell me that's the one with Bogart ordering rabbit for "baby" . That is one of my favorite Bugs Bunny episodes:
Bugs dressed as waiter and giving order to Fudd, who is in the kitchen : "One Banana-Coconut Cream Pie!"
Fudd: "One Banana-Coconut Cream Pie" :laces pie on counter::
"Pick up pie!"
Buggs : "Pick up pie!" ::takes pie, goes out the out door and comes right back in the in door:: "Your pie sir!" ::smacks Fudd in face with pie::

I love the old quality Bugs Bunny......

Did you see the one where "rocky" is hold up in a house. He hides in the oven when the NY Irish Cop comes pounding on the door , and bugs throws a match in it... parody of EG Robinson and Cagney! LOVE IT!

Great!!! I'm having surgery next Tuesday and I think I'll be laid up for a while. Viewing movies will be my #1 thing for at least a couple of weeks.

Make sure you get the Looney Tunes "Golden" collection, and NOT the "premier" collection. The Golden collection is much more substantive, whereas the premier collection is rather castrated, and does not contain as much extras or full cartoons as the golden collection.

I'd post a link to it for you, but I'll wait on MK to get the store set up.
