Vest and Pants

Hello

I had a vest and pants set made for an event. I lost a quite a bit of weight before it was completed, so now it doesn't fit.

Here is what I patterned the vest out of:

Here is the actual vest:

The combo:

the vest would be about a 44 and the pants would be around 36x32
Neither has been worn

the vest would be about a 44 (its 22 across and 22 in length along the back) and the pants would be around 36x32 with and 1 1/2 in cuff

What is the material?
Photos are so dark I can't make out the colors
I am an off the rack 44 & 36x32.

I was also an off the rack 44. I believe if you click on the pictures, they will take you to much larger versions of them, as well as other photos. They are a dark striped wool brown.
