I feel your pain....
I'm quite new here as well, and have thrown out a few threads with....similar results. Let's face it: there's a huge number of people here with vastly varying interests. I wouldn't doubt but that once people begin to get a sense of who you are...they begin to pay a bit more attention. Hang in there!
But, to answer your question: I DON'T listen to much scary stuff...except around Hallowe'en. A perennial favorite for me is the episode of Escape! entitled Casting Runes, broadcast on November 19, 1947. A close second is another episode from the same series, The Ring Of Thoth, broadcast August 8 of the same year.

"Suspense" is definately one of my favorites. "The Weird Circle" has some good scares.

Jeff Wayne's "War of the World's" was scary when I was younger. Still gives me the odd chill now.
