Will jeans go out of fashion? I hope that bad, low rise and droopy poopy ones do. I love me some LEVI'S LVC and Lee repros.

I must be getting old, just a day or so ago I saw the gang banger type with pants down below the butt about mid-way between hips and knees. I still can't figure out how that became a fashion statement, an IQ statement maybe but fashion -no.

Well, basically, its an emulaton of prison detainees.

In prison, belts and shoe laces arent allowed. Could be used to strangle/garrot/whathaveyou someone.

Without a belt, your pants dont stay up.

What I find especially pathetic is that out in the suburbs where I live, (most of) the kids dont even know this.

Around here the consensus is also middling-baggy pants (i.e. baggy but with a belt or something, not actually below the butt) are also more useful than straight-leg jeans as far as concealing weapons and jumping chainlink fences.

If that's how you plan to spend your Friday nights. [huh]

Slacks to Jeans

Hey

I'm 18, but I definately prefer wearing a pair of slacks, preferably beige or black, to a pair of jeans. To me slacks are much more classy, much more comfortable and overall more aesthically pleasing than jeans.

Anyone else prefer slacks to jeans?

Wool drapes so much more nicely that does denim.
