ya know some days you hunt and there is nothing, and some days there is so much goodness you have to choose wisely...so these are from an outing to my favorite antique mall yesterday:

funky lucite hair comb:

celluloid hair receiver - a going out of business booth so this lovely was only five dollars!! i don't know why it looks different colors in the image, must be the lighting, because it's the same buttery yellow.

an aluminum coaster set with rack - i have a coaster fetish or so my hubby thinks. I also hate water rings on tables

and the best of all - an immaculate black corde cylinder bag with beautiful lucite handles from the estate of a local lady. the vendor was there and told me all about it. She was happy it will stay in town and enjoy a day/night out again!

Just won these counter top display signs on ebay for my reenactment portrayal of a WW2 seamstress/ dressmaker:

I'm not that upset though. I can make a copy of that banner from the first display sign by bringing it into a printing shop. Or Kinkos. I'm so excited to have these!!

One of the girls here sent the link to me because she knows of my portrayal and I almost fainted! It's so impossible to find anything display-wise having to do w/ sewing outside of advertisements and patterns/ books. And in pristine condition!? (I'm super excited!)

Nice bargain, I never saw this in real I new they where made and what their use is but this is a great find
