OMG that is one of my favorite dresses ever. The picture of Rita laying down is the first picture of her I ever saw, someone thought I looked like her and they showed me that photo. That is actually almost a dead ringer for me. But that isn't the point I have always had my heart set on having this dress made in white for when I "grow up" and get married.

This dress is just stunning to me it is an amazing color

The entire outfit is great but the jacket/coat is really wonderful

I think my favorite dress would have to be the black one the Rosemary Cloony wore in White Christmas. It is so simple and it is very elegant.

I've always had it bad for the green dress with plaid trim that Ann Miller wears in the Prehistoric Man number in On the Town. I couldn't find a photo of the dress, but here's a video clip from YouTube:

Also, in what movie does Ginger Rodgers wear that adorable dress with the arrows and hearts on it? It was a movie with Fred Astaire but I can't remember which one, nor can I find a picture of it.

Carefree! I love that one too; I'm a sucker for stuff with hearts. There's a great lobby card over at Dr. Macro which shows Ginger wearing the dress.

Okay, so ALL of the Adrian costumes in The Women are fabulous...but the black gown Norma Shearer is wearing in this scene is so elegant...

I actually love this scanty costume Louise Brooks is wearing in Pandora's Box, too...
